Eliane Chappuis is an actress, singer, film producer and model. She was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Switzerland. Her Swiss father taught at the university of Berne and died when she was a young girl. Her mother is a Vietnamese aristocrat, works as a social worker and is her mentor. When she was17 she went to Iive in Zürich, so she could attend the Zürich Academy of Acting.Then in 1996 she went to the USA, where her lucky star was very evident when she got accepted to attend Robert Redford's Sundance Workshop, where she learnt many aspects of film making and made many friends, including Kathy Bates, who gave her lots of moral and practical support.Then her acting took off in Los Angeles where she starred in many different roles.
