Con amor se gana is an excellent CD by Frankie Negron. This performer has one of the best voices in contemporary Latin music. Most of the lyrics are in Spanish, and all of the songs have a percussion-rich salsa rhythm.The CD gets off to strong start with the joyful, exuberant Inolvidable. Other outstanding songs include the dramatic Hoy me he vuelto a enamorar and Un busca de la noche, which mixes some English in with the Spanish lyrics. Also fun is a salsa version of Stevie Wonder's Overjoyed (sung in English). Frankie Negron is a genuinely exciting performer, and this CD is a great example of his talent.
