Robby Earle's Back to Life is an impressive effort through and through. The young singer-songwriter boasts catchy tunes that show a lot of depth. During the five song, 22 minute EP listeners are treated to upbeat radio-ready pop songs such as Nashville Sky and laid-back ballads such as I Don't Mind. The songwriting isn't the only thing that makes Back to Life great though. The production on the EP and instrumentation is rich and varied throughout the tracks. Every listen revels another likable element. Whether it's a catchy guitar line, a great hook or another deeply relatable lyric, the EP rewards multiple listen.Honestly, it's not just another pop EP, Back to Life has a lot more to it. The tracks are catchy, yes. They are instantly enjoyable, but the EP doesn't tire out like other catchy pop efforts. Robby Earle's Back to Life has a depth of songwriting and production that I've really come to appreciate. I strongly suggest the EP, I can't really think of a better way to spend the $5.
