Unconditional Absolution is an excellent rather melodic traditional metal album with a strong 80's sound. There is a wide range of songs and influences to the music. On some songs I hear some Priest, other songs some Maiden and even some Dio. The vocals are nowhere up to the level of those bands, but they are none the less effective for the band's style of traditional metal. Songs are for the most part mid paced and enjoyable. Unconditional Absolution is a very solid heavy metal album from this veteran German bunch.
