Musically this is beautiful. 'Now Would Be', 'Green to Red', and 'Hang On' are all gorgeous. He utilises the Kevin Shields wah wobbling to get a sexy guitar sound, but stays a little more in dream pop territory than MBV, who rock out rather more. However, I must admit to finding the vocals a little annoying. I can't explain why, but they're a little 'Eliot Smith', if you know what I mean. A bit too poppy. They would have been a lot better if they'd given them a bit of a heavier production job to match the music. Still, this is a lovely EP overall, and I look forward to an album.
