This was after I'd seen the film in 1988 & heard Mark play it live @ The Park West Theater in Chicago in 1991. I think Mark really scores here for this film. Taking help from fellow musicians like David Torn, Kurt Wortman & Shala Sarsharlesinger, there are middle eastern instruments like the dulcimer& Mark's trumpet soaring throughout this soundtrack & one track - track No 7 (BADAL) is absolutely brilliant. Only a gifted composer like Mark could come out with someting like that. The CD runs for 50 odd minutes & it stands out alone as well as great piece of music. Sad, that it's out-of-print & costs a bomb now to buy it !
