You'll See is a song by pop singer Madonna, from the ballads compilation Something to Remember. It was released on October 23, 1995 by Warner Bros. Records as the first single from the album.The song became a big international hit, reaching #1 in Japan, #2 in Finland, Canada and South Africa, and #5 in Italy. It was certified Gold in the US and Japan. A Spanish version, called Verás, appeared on the maxi-singles and on the Spanish and Latin American editions of Something to Remember; the lyrics from this version were written by Argentine singer-songwriter Paz Martínez. Junior Vasquez produced an uncommissioned and unofficial remix of the track.In the United States, You'll See debuted at #8, and peaked at #6. With the single, Madonna became one of the only three artists in the Hot 100 history to have a hit peak at each position from #1 to #10; the others are Aretha Franklin and Marvin Gaye.[1] The Spanish version Veras became Madonna's first Latin hit, peaking at number 21 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs. In the UK, the song was released in October 1995 and peaked at #5 in the UK Singles Chart. It is her 19th best selling single in the UK to date, selling over 302,000 copies. You'll See was also one of the few performances Madonna made for the music television program Top of the Pops in the United Kingdom. According to The Official Charts Company, the song has sold 305,000 copies there.[2]In 2001, Madonna substituted You'll See for Gone at select US shows of her Drowned World Tour.
