The Balancing Act tells the story of Cool Hand Luke from the bands earliest days until 2007 when it was released. It includes songs from the So Far... EP, I Fought Against Myself, their self-titled 7, Wake Up, O Sleeper, and The Fires of Life,. It also includes the songs The Balancing Act, Wonder Tour, and A Floating Smile, which were previously unreleased. The CD includes liner notes from producer Steve Hindalong and original guitarist Jason Hammil, as well as a brief history of Cool Hand Luke from the perspective of singer Mark Nicks.
