The Creatures In The Garden of Lady Walton includes a collection of new songs composed by Padma Newsome during his 2005 Fromm Foundation residency at Giardini La Mortella, a rich botanical paradise created by Lady Walton (widow of the late British composer Sir William Walton) on the island of Ischia, off the Bay of Naples in Italy.The songs feature Padma Newsome and guest vocalists Shara Worden, Matt Berninger & Sufjan Stevens, together with a host of special guest instrumentalists.
