Alias Empire are a Dublin based four piece whose music blends electronic\u002Fdance, programming and synths with live percussion, vocals, bass & guitars. The band’s sound spans genres, ranging from quiet and intricate to loud and direct, paying attention to clever song writing and innovative use of technology. The band gave a set filled with tracks from their Choice-nominated debut album Unexpected Falls, but the music was louder and had more of a dance vibe in the live setting. They also did an interesting and astonishing reworking of Daft Punk’s Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger and gave the crowd a few glimpses of their new material which makes for a promising future for this Dublin electro outfit.Although with no plans to gig again soon, due to the upcoming release of Unexpected Falls in the UK and recording their second album, when they play again they’ll be on the road for world domination.
