Danny Massure came on the scene as co-founder of Ticklejunk Recordings and the producer behind The Ticklejunk All Stars. His skills behind the decks, at the desk, and on the drums have made him a busy man. On Rewind, Danny borrows the powerful voice of Seattle soul sister Loretta Jones. The groove is dirty and syncopated , with old school funky instrumentation thanks to guitarist Peter Schatz, keyboardist Eric Goetz, saxophonist Michael Deasy Jr. and trumpeter Matt Reid. Quincy Jointz (Geriba) funks it up on the remix, with a DJ friendly dance floor stomper.
