Nkululeko Madolo a.k.a. BLACK DILLINGER was born in Capetown\u002FSouthafrica and grew up in the middle of the township-ghetto of Guguletho. This township became famous during the 70s and 80s for its uprising against the white apartheid regime, its notorious high crime rate and number of murders during the last years. The feelings, aspirations and problems evolving from this despair situation are transposed by this young artist, who is often compared to SIZZLA, on his debut album called LIVE AND LEARN. With his rhyming skills, his huge variety of conscious lyrics and a distinctive voice Black Dillinger is definitely a figurehead of South African Reggae Music. His cousin VIDO JELASHE, the Gambian Roots Singer REBELLION THE RECALLER and the Jamaican singer YAH MEEK are featured as guest artists on this album produced by GANJAMAN at GROWKAMMER-studio in Berlin. March14th 2005 marks the day of his first release with the AFRICAN D**E SOUNDSYSTEM as part of a compilation album in the well-known German RIDDIM-Magazine. Another song was featured on the HOUSE OF RIDDIM sampler Chapter II. Alongside MARTIN JONDO he released the song Concrete Jungle on Martins single Are You Really Waiting. And on UWE BANTONs debut album Jah Roots he took part on the track Hail The Man. After this he had several 7-releases on the KING ORLE and the LOVEBIRD Riddim.
