After the sparse and minimalist collaboration Gerontology with german sound artist Mirko Uhlig, the new N album Carrissals now joins both warm + dark drones with field recordings found by basque artist Tzesne, causing a music, that seems to be drowned in a strange bright light, that is kind of dark at the same time... similar to my own concept of reflecting real places musically, Tzesne explores places via collecting fieldrecordings and treating those with postproduction... so maybe it is no surprise, that our ways crossed and we decided to work together. as with our personal work, Carrissals joins music, artwork and track's names to a picture of that certain place, located somewhere in spain.
