A native of Pittsburgh, Janet Metzger has lived in the Southeast since she was 11. She earned her music degree at Florida State University, and her musician's ear has served her well as a vocalist, voice talent and audiobook narrator. Based in Atlanta, Metzger has performed as an actor on stage, TV and film (in 2012 she will appear with Denzel Washington in "Flight," directed by Robert Zemeckis), and as a jazz vocalist in hotels and supper clubs. Her debut CD, “So Many Stars,” is available at CDBaby.com, and iTunes, as well as her follow-up recording, “Small Day Tomorrow: Janet Metzger Live At Churchill Grounds.” For five years Metzger was the voice of Headline News (now HLN), during which time she also promoted features and news stories for CNN and CNN International.
