Michael Stanley, better known as Scarlet Weapon, or Scarlet for short, was born on September 20th 1990, in Brookdale hospital located in Brooklyn, New York. Though not rich and famous yet, this day was the start of a great success story, Born into poverty, living in Brownsville, a Brooklyn neighborhood notorious for all sorts of crimes, from petty to grand, you wouldn't expect too much positivity to strive there. Born to a teenage mother and at the time incarcerated father may seem like a hopeless case to those who've never seen it up close, but we as humans have the power to do greater than what's expected of us. And my mother did JUST that, raised her son, for the most part, on her own, and did a damn good job at "not raising no dummy". She's the one who taught me how to read, before I even saw a classroom, reading, writing, spelling, adding and subtracting was light work for me, and i guess being raised by a woman made me more sensitive, in a good way.
