Hailing from the campus of ETSU in Johnson city, TN, Demon Waffle is bustin' down the doors of the local band scene with their energetic music. Formed in late 2009, this 7-piece ensemble brings back a unique style of music to the area called ska; a blend of reggae, rock, and punk music, while super popular in the late 90's, it never left the hearts and minds of a faithful few. With most members of the group being comprised of ETSU music majors, Demon Waffle is setting out to prove that even though they can tell the difference between the French and German augmented 6th chords, they can still rock out with the best of them. Singer Tyler Parkhill's power-packed lyrics with the band's searing horn lines and relentless rhythm section produce a sound revolution bursting at the seams with ultra-catchy gems that will be sure to make any listener dance/head-bang/ or just enjoy life, for hours! Come see them at a show and support Johnson City's not-so-underground music scene.
