Since its formation in April 2001, has been collecting Mombojó important experiences for the current work of the band. Already in 2002 to participate Mombojó major musical events of Pernambuco, having received the following comment on his presentation at the 10th April Pro Rock: (Jornal do Brazil / Silvio Essinger, April 23, 2002) - "The beginners of Mombojó .. . were the big reveal of the new scene of Recife on Sunday night with his music high power fuel, made with guitars, ukuleles and computers. " 
 
In 2003, the group was awarded funds from the Cultural Incentive System of the Municipality of Recife (PE) to produce the first album Nadadenovo. Recorded and mixed in Recife musical production of Igor Medeiros and Mad Mud (Leo William P & D), and mastered in So Paulo (Master Classic), the disc soon attracted the attention of the public and the media. Nadadenovo are fifteen tracks that compile multiple rhythms and trends in arrangements worked with bass, drums, guitar, guitar, keyboard, chip, flute, melodica, samples ... Music that is pleasing to those who want to go dancing and to the ears of those who only want to see the time pass. Rock-a-chorus, bossa nova, lounge, surf music, jazz, classical, samba and other references are elements in a complex melodic strength.
