AfterEarth was formed out of a desire to create music which transcends the definition of metal, while retaining everything that makes metal unique. Whether it is shattering beats, piercing guitar solos, or simple yet effective riffing, AfterEarth does not fail to deliver. The band is formed of musicians of varied background and experience, with influences ranging from pure unadulterated metal to classical music and jazz. Lyrically, nothing is off limits, with romanticism and darkness combining with scenes of destruction and dementia, all masterfully weaved into a brutal yet compelling achievement.
