Conceived in the city of Vancouver, Canada, modern metal band Dawning of the Inferno set out to shock the metal scene with a sound that was fresh, unique, and utterly terrifying. After releasing their crushing debut 6-track progressive deathcore EP "Cognitive Dissonance", the band quickly topped off their arrival on the scene with "Awaken", their latest innovative single to shake up the genre. Dawning of the Inferno set out to take what they had learned from their musical influences and form something unique, and over time refined their sound into a mix of devastatingly heavy breakdowns, blisteringly fast solos, commanding melodies and incredibly tight riffing to form an extreme modern metal experience unlike any other.
Carefully designing their dark, chilling and destructive sound, their most unforgettable moments come from incredibly crafted orchestrations of haunting melodicism amidst the wreckage and ruins of the worlds they create and destroy within your mind. While the band's lyrics are seemingly prophetic in their description of end times, in truth they describe the present, twisted reality of the toxic civilization we humans have created through our own technology and tools of control. Merging advanced technical facility with mature songwriting skills, Dawning of the Inferno has begun recording their new EP, planned for release in Winter 2014. One thing is certain, Dawning of the Inferno is going to make a monstrous impact in 2014.
