In January 2013, Olivia released her first album Don't Come Knockin' that was recorded at Treasure Isle Studio in Nashville, Tennessee. She fell in love with the guitar when she was 8 years old, and has been writing songs ever since she was in junior high. After her family moved out to the country, Olivia quickly became influenced by country music. She had been exposed to classical piano, Celctic music, and other different genres over the years, but the roots of folk and country seemed to resonate the most with her. Throughout highschool, songwriting seemed to be a release and a way to express the multitude of emotions she felt about love, faith, and life. As Olivia pursued different career avenues, she could never shake the fact that music was where her heart always came back to. She attended a songwriting festival in Nashville over the summer of 2012, and there she met Fred Vail who believed enough in her songs to give her a shot at recording in his studio. After a summer of writing, and having the opportunity to work with some of the top musicians in Nahsville at the studio, Olivia is now pushing toward her dream of getting signed and making it in the music industry. For Olivia, Don't Come Knockin' represents the beginning of a dream that she hopes will take her far in the future.
