Cast A Cyclone are an intense hard-hitting five piece metalcore band springing out of nowhere in the Tauranga underground scene. From their all out, ear bleeding breakdowns to their heart sinking melodic choruses, Cast A Cyclone bring a fresh perspective on what it means to be a modern metalcore band.
The band was formed with only a few members mid 2012 and expanded their line-up to a five piece in early 2013. Within just a few weeks their status changed from "known by friends" to raging out at gigs with well known bands in the hardcore scene. Aside from the hardcore scene, the boys in Cast A Cyclone began to devastate fans by opening for New Zealand metal icons such as 8 Foot Sativa and Saving Grace. After their proud achievements, they then went on to performing at shows with upcoming metal talent all around the North Island.
Their first EP, titled End Of The World, was written and recorded by the band itself. Due to release in mid 2014, the End Of The World EP is bound to be their biggest source of effort and hard work. They have pushed their limits to a whole new level that they could never have imagined.
Cast A Cyclone are aiming to make a big impact on the metal scene, and with the talent and sound they've got these guys definitely have the potential!
