ince graduating from NYU in May 2002, DeQuina has been featured on Broadway, in several films, on television, and in commercials for Coca Cola, Bank of America and Wrigley's Gum. She made her Broadway debut in the Jerry Zaks direction of "Little Shop of Horrors" as "Chiffon." Her additional Broadway and stage credits include: "Legally Blonde," "Happy Days the Musical," "Hair," and "The Two Gentlemen of Verona." Among DeQuina's film credits are the short film "All Falls Down" (directed by David Koepp), and the features "Ghost Town," "Camp," "Racing for Time," "Dancing with Shiva," and "The Last New Yorker." Ms. Moore also had a recurring role on the popular TV series "Third Watch." With all her success amidst the visual arts, it's only natural that DeQuina's desire to emerge as a songstress would kick in. The multi-faceted celebrity is currently devoting several woman hours to recording her first solo effort. A collection of R&B, hip-hop and soul, all the songs are written by DeQuina. Born and bred in Houston, DeQuina has known she's wanted to perform since the age of three. From that moment, she began her training as a dancer, joining the Ensemble Theatre Youth Program at the age of six. As a young adult, DeQuina received more acting training via Black Nexxus of New York, and additional dance instruction from various professionals.
