Disinterested is a project that grew out of the desire to make ambient music with only a guitar - exploring the limits of effects and experimentation in the recording process - but slowly grew into an outlet for the material that didn't make it to my band, trespassers william. 
Part solo project and part collaborations, contributors have included: the rest of my band, people over the internet (Ma-Chan, Klassen), classical singer Dino Palazzi - and on the new record, guitarist Bill Frisell. 
The first collection of songs, 'The Past is Never Far' was released in 2003 on the experimental label Skean Dhu. The new record 'Behind Us' is out now on Dynamophone records.
