Antichthon is a world of wonders hidden in the voidfull depths of a lost realm, which is that of dreams. It resembles this world in many ways, but differs in many others, the most notable aspect being that it is not forsaken. Never have the mythic gods abandoned Antichthon, so mystical energy flows within and great aeons prevail.  
Most fantastic tales take place in Antichthon, and this world shall be blessed with knowledge of them by an oracle. That oracle took its form in the minds of a few select young persons who shall transmit the history of Antichthon into earthlings’ minds through lyrical expression.  
This task was not to be entrusted to just anyone. The oracle would take form only in the most worthy, so five virtuous yet mischievous young outcast where chosen. They are known by the names of Magnus, Joo, Diogo, Bruno and Pedro. Magnus, Bruno and Joo have known each other from the dawn of their lives, as they attended the same child-tutoring institution. However, Joo left the institution after completing primary tutoring, thus distancing himself from Magnus and Bruno. Years later, Joo regained contact with Magnus and Bruno, and with him came his neighbour, Diogo. These four youth soon became soul bound friends, and would gather often. It was in one of these gatherings that the fire of Antichthon was lit in their souls. They decided to form a band of extreme metal music. Magnus, Bruno, Diogo and Joo began to practice musicianship, Magnus, Diogo and Bruno placed themselves under the direction of legendary axemaster Baron Cerberus. Joo chose the panzerdrums, Bruno the lightning broad-axe, Diogo the lightning axe, and Magnus, although also learning to wield the lightning axe, chose the path of horrific screaming and roaring. Joo took initiative in composing the band's magnificent melodies, and was later supported by Bruno and Diogo, while Magnus wrote the epic lyrics that he was to scream.  
Although the band was progressing well, gifted with outstanding creativity, the band was far from complete. After about a year of the band's existence, Pedro, a lightning axeman, joined the band. The addition of this element would raise the band's creativity even more. The elder gods blessed the band with prosperity. Unfortunately, the inspiration of Antichthon never reached a human keyboardist, so the band acquired an enchanted machine that would equal a human keyboardist. With the addition of this new inanimate member, the band was finally complete. The band was named after the world that they would serve as oracle for - Antichthon.
