I was born into a Jewish family in 1963. The years of my youth were characterized by a middle-class existence, combined with a growing opposition to the existing socialist system, resulting in increased manifestations of deviance. My music career began in 1980 when I formed the first Hungarian punk band. These were years filled with hard drugs, alcoholism and total debauchery. I followed in the footsteps of many other rock musicians who died at a young age from similar lifestyles. I became the face of the rebellious life of the anti-communist underground in Budapest and for this reason filmmakers set out to make a movie (Rocktérítő) about me. I played myself and was filmed in spontaneous situations in my daily life. But instead of a tragic ending, which at that time was a very real possibility in the course of my fate, an incident occurred, which at once put an end to the film. I turned to Jesus who worked a real miracle in me. I was completely delivered from my drug and other substance addictions. I married the love of my life, with whom I have been faithful to since, and together we have three children, who are now adults. I have written hundreds of songs about this capital life; portraying the world, sometimes in a sarcastic light, through lyrics (rap), or ballads. It is an honor that as a result of my experiences I can help many people, and I believe that God has more great things in store for me.
