Biography

Self-described indie rock emo folk outfit the Boy Bathing formed in New York City around the talents of multi-instrumentalists David Hurwitz, Jeannie Scofield, Dylan Allen, and Matt Bogdanow. Taking its moniker from the Aesop's Fable of the same name, the group is noted for its heady and wry lyricism, heavily orchestrated arrangements, and inclusive live shows, drawing comparisons to everyone from Sufjan Stevens to Arcade Fire. The Boy Bathing released their debut album, A Fire to Make Preparations, in the summer of 2008.
