Fiction Fight play Electronic Post-Rock. Born in Coventry, the band’s electronic drums give way to organic noise and melody, like plants growing through cracks in concrete, overtaking the surroundings and making loud and life-affirming music. Influenced in equal parts by the soulful fuzz of early TV On the Radio, the grandiose strings of Bjork and the spacious grooves of Aim, Fiction Fight paint landscapes onto wax and create a cloud of noise onstage. 
 
The band has grown just like the music does, beginning as a solo project and gaining a live band that, in other guises, have shared stages with Newton Faulkner, Enter Shikari and rap artist Example among others. Half of the band works part-time in music production, and half have their own songwriting side-projects, making Fiction Fight a band driven by sounds and experimentation but rooted in hooks and harmony. 
 
Having self-released their debut EP last year, the band was recently signed to Birmingham label Zang Productions, a grassroots project that sees eye-to-eye with their approach on creating music and the business that goes with it. With them the band will be releasing and touring their debut LP in mid 2011.
