A frosty morn on Christmas day under a Christmas tree
Lay a bundle of joy a first grandchild grandma did see
Yes that’s my child said pa proudly briming from ear to ear
A Christmas gift we shall enjoy grandpa said wiping a tear
What hope a child will bring this day as once in Bethlehem
A child so pure of heart untouched by the world’s mayhem
Let wisemen teach the golden rules to guide a righteous path
And from all fears a child will lead a saviour from evil’s wrath
Born this day in Bethlehem young Shepard boy have you heard
Sent down from heaven a saviour has come go far and wide carry the word
From afar wisemen have come a star so bright to guide their way
Angels will sing a joyous hymn a child of God is born this day
Bron this day in Bethlehem have you heard a Shepard did say
Angels will sing a joyous hymn a child of God is born this day
What hope a child will bring this day as once in Bethlehem
A child so pure of heart untouched by the world’s mayhem
Let wisemen teach the golden rules to guide a righteous path
And from all fears a child will lead a saviour from evil’s wrath
A frosty morn on Christmas day under a Christmas tree
Lay a child of joy and pure of heart friends came to see
A child of hope in a world of doubt may heal life’s wayward ways
A gift for all from heaven above born this Christmas day
