The Maharaja 'Kundungga,'

so noble, had a renowned son,

named Sang 'Aswawarmman,' the illustrious one, the Sun God,

who fostered a most noble lineage.

'Aswawarmman' had three sons,

the foremost among them was 'Mulawarmman,'

a ruler of good character, strength, and power,

fond of hosting feasts with an abundance of gold.

Listen, all of you,

to the virtues of 'Mulawarmman,'

the great king of immense nobility.

His virtue manifested in acts of immense charity.

The famed King 'Mulawarman'

had defeated kings on the battlefield,

making them his subordinates,

as King 'Yudhishthira' once did.
