It all began in a winter wonderland, 1893

A young man who had a plan, out to get a Christmas tree

His little girl, she wanted to go

But to that smile he couldn't say no

And that tree they found that day was a miracle

Please daddy don't cut it down, the little girl started to cry

Something in this world so beautiful, should never die

And to those here after we shall give

What was truly meant to live

He said

It's a part of the family

Every year we'll be here again

Got married on one Christmas eve

Beneath the stars from up above

She held my hand in front of that tree

And it was beautiful

It was the spirit of light that stood so tall

Shining bright and seen by all

She said
