I crouch in fear - it walks towards me
If I try to hide it turns and claws me
It scares away or stalks my friends
It's killed before, it could again
I'm chained to an amazing lion
I've long since thrown away the key
Though the chain is silver in my hands
Only lion tamers understand
At times the creature's beauty awes me
And lulls me into slumbers deep
But if I sleep the lion growls
And I've seen it when it's time to roar
But if I feed it
It needs more and more and more and more
Now my lion seems to need a name
I think I'll call my lion
Yes, I think I'll call my lion
Yes, I think I'll call my lion Fame
Think I'll call my lion Fame
Lion's risen into view
It stands between us, me and you
But I won't survive without my lion
Though it can go on without me
So I could never set that monster free
I know it could kill me and consume me
Then grow to some gigantic size
Either way the lion wins
I feed it though I live or die
I'm chained to an amazing lion
I've long since thrown away the key
Though the chain is silver in my hands
Only lion tamers understand
My lion seems to need a name
I think I'll call my lion
Yes, I think I'll call my lion
Yes, I think I'll call my lion - Fame
I think I'll call my lion Fame
I think I'll call my lion Fame
Think I'll call my lion
