Before Lord

在上帝之前

God made the sea or the land

上帝创造海洋与陆地之前

He held all the stars in the palm of his hand

他将所有的星星握在掌心

And they ran through his fingers like grains of sand

星星如沙粒般从他指间滑落

And one little star fell alone

其中一颗小星星独自坠落

Then the Lord

于是上帝

God hunted through the wide night air

在广阔的夜空中寻找

For the little dark star in the wind down there

寻找那颗在风中坠落的小星星

And he stated and promised he'd take special care

他郑重承诺会特别关照

So it wouldn't get lost no more

让它不再迷失方向

Now a man don't mind if the stars get dim

And the clouds blow over and darken him

Keeping track how it all goes on

But I've been walking through the night and the day
